The sloping outer face to the right of the entrance to the offering chamber of Hem-iunu's mastaba is decorated in a fine raised relief. It represents the feet of the tomb owner, dressed in a long garment and holding a long stick. The final words of three columns of inscriptions have also been preserved. To the side of the entrance doorway are three rows of scenes showing the damaged remains of an offering table and part of a list of offerings.
"[1] ... Lector Priest, Head of all divine offices" "[2] ... ['Greatest one of the Five' of the] House of Thoth, Priest of the Ram of Mendes" "[3] ... Beloved of his Lord, the Royal Son, Hem-iunu"
