Description
The glass plaque commemorates the foundation of the Serapeum Temple in Alexandria. The inscription, in black ink, is written in five lines in Greek. The foundation of the great Serapeum at Alexandria dated to the reign of Ptolemy the Third Euergetes and his wife Berenice the Second, the two Benefactor gods, as stated in the inscription.

يخلد اللوح الزجاجي تأسيس معبد السرابيوم بالإسكندرية، سجلت النقوش بالمداد الأسود في خمسة أسطر بالإغريقية. إذ يؤرخ تأسيس السرابيوم العظيم بالإسكندرية بحكم بطلميوس الثالث(يورجتيس) وزوجته برنيكى الثانية، الالهين الخيرّين كما ذكر في النقش.
