The painted funerary stela, an upright stone with a sculpted surface, of Isidora the Cyrenean was damaged and is now restored. 

It depicts a woman sitting on a chair, resting her feet on a stool, and holding her baby on her lap. Looking kindly at her, the baby raises its hand toward its mother. 

The two-line inscription in Greek identifies her as a Greek woman who settled in Alexandria. The blue color is used for the acroteria, or small pedestal for statues or other ornaments, and for part of the chair. 

The pediment, or triangular space, and the legs of the chair are colored in red. Brown and cream are used for the clothes, dark brown for the hair, rose for carnations, and yellow for the footstool.

Cette stèle funéraire peinte d'Isidore de Cyrène fut abîmée mais est aujourd'hui restaurée. 

Elle représente une femme assise sur une chaise, un bébé sur les genoux et les pieds sur un tabouret. En y regardant de plus près, on peut voir le bébé lever la main vers sa mère.

Les deux lignes d'inscription en grec indiquent qu'il s'agit d'une femme grecque qui s'est installée en Alexandrie. La couleur bleue fut utilisée pour dépeindre l'acrotère, ou petit piédestal pour statues ou autres ornements, et une partie de la chaise. 

Le fronton, ou espace triangulaire, et les pieds de la chaise sont en rouge. Les vêtements sont bruns et crème, les cheveux châtain foncé, la peau rose et le tabouret jaune.

إذ يصور امرأة تقتعد كرسياً وتضع على موطئ قدميها وتمسك في حجرها بطفلها الذي رفع يده نحو امه. 

أما النص الإغريقي الذي يقع في سطرين فيعرفها بأنها امرأة إغريقية استقرت في الإسكندرية، وقد صبغ باللون الأزرق "الاكروتيريا" أي موطئ القدم للتماثيل وغيرها من الزخارف وجزء من الكرسي. 

على حين لونت بالأحمر قمة الشاهد أي القمة المثلثة وقوائم الكرسي، كما استخدم اللون البني والأصفر للملابس واللون البني القاتم للشعر والوردي والأصفر لموطئ القدم.
