The Global Egyptian Museum

The pottery figurine of a goddess representing both Isis and Aphrodite was created from a mold. The image of the combined goddesses represents fertility. 

In this form and dimension, it represents the protector goddess of marriage and was placed in houses, sanctuaries, and tombs. 

The goddess is standing nude with the arms along the body and wearing a Libyan hairstyle of twisted braids. 

The head is crowned with two huge floral crowns. These crowns are topped with bands that extend beyond her shoulders. 

She wears an exaggerated kalathos, the crown of Egyptian Hellenistic deities.

Créée à partir d'un moule, cette figurine d'une déesse en céramique représente à la fois Isis et Aphrodite. L'image combinée de ces déesses symbolise la fertilité. 

Du point de vue de la forme et des dimensions, cette figurine représente la déesse protectrice du mariage; elle était placée dans les maisons, les sanctuaires et les tombes. 

Dénudée et les bras le long du corps, elle porte une coiffure libyenne composée de tresses. 

Sa tête est ornée de deux énormes couronnes de fleurs surmontées de bandeaux qui dépassent des épaules. 

De plus, elle est coiffée d'un immense "kalathos", couronne des divinités hellénistiques égyptiennes.

صنع التمثال الفخاري الصغير بما يمثل الهة في صورة إيزيس وأفروديت باستعمال قالب، حيث ترمز الصورة التي تجمع الالهتين للخصوبة. وبهذا الشكل والجسم تمثل الالهة حامية الزواج وتودع في البيوت والمحاريب والقبور. 

تقف الالهة عارية ممتدة الذراعين على طول الجسد بشعر ليبي النمط من عقائص مجدولة. وقد توج الرأس بتاجين عظيمين من زهور، تعلوهما شرائط تتدلى من وراء الكتفين. 

كما ترتدي كالاثوس (سلة الأسرار المقدسة) بالغ الحجم وهو تاج الالهة الهيللينيستية المصرية.
