Description
The fine relief carved in bone depicts Aphrodite after her bath, standing on a base. Beside her right leg is a dolphin, her right hand is under her breast, and she is covering herself with her left hand. The left leg is broken, but the body is well proportioned, displaying the beauty attested to Aphrodite. Ivory and bones were used to decorate pieces of furniture.

Taillé dans un os, ce relief représente Aphrodite après un bain, sur une base. A côté de sa jambe droite, on peut voir un dauphin. Sa main droite se trouve sous sa poitrine. Elle tente de se couvrir avec la main gauche. Bien que la jambe gauche soit brisée, le corps est bien proportionné. D'ailleurs, il témoigne de l'extrême beauté de cette déesse. Précisons également que de l'ivoire et des os furent utilisés pour décorer le mobilier.
نحت النقش الدقيق على عظم مصوراً أفروديت بعد حمامها قائمة على قاعدة. وإلى جانب قدمها اليمنى دلفين، ويمناها تحت صدرها وهي تستر نفسها بيدها اليسرى. وقد كسرت الرجل اليسرى وإن كان الجسد حسن التنسيق يظهر ما هو معروف من جمال أفروديت. كما استخدم العاج والعظم في زخرفة قطع الأثاث.
