The Greek papyrus E.8441 and Demotic papyrus E. 8442 and E. 8443 are part of the archives from a certain Petecharsemeteus, a member of a family of soldiers who were based at Pathyrus (the real Gebelein) during the 2nd-1st centuries B.C. The three pieces from Brussels complete these archives actually consisting of seventy documents dispersed in differents museums and collections. The Greek papyrus, dating from 100/99 B.C., concerns the sale of three lots of land.
