Slideshow

The head and chest of a girl are painted onto a wooden panel. She wears a red tunic, trimmed with vertical black stripes. Her head is crowned with a gilded wreath. The hardly visible earrings consist of golden balls. The hair is gathered up in a bun. The lines under the nose and the mouth, the big eyes and the shape of the eyebrows give an expressive character to the face.
