The Global Egyptian Museum

In the middle of this part of a vault ceiling made of colored plaster, a rhombus is surrounded with geometric shapes of rhombi and squares. A rhombus is a four-sided polygon with equal and parallel sides. Floral drawings are depicted inside these shapes. 

In the middle of the drawing, there is an octagon with four short sides. Each of them forms one side of four squares. On the left, there is a vertical row of four squares, whose sides are marked in black. 

Inside each one there is a central square with leaves or floral shapes in the middle. This piece is currently placed on the floor of the hall of the Greco-Roman Museum. Its colors are very faded.

Il s'agit d'une partie du plafond d'une voûte en plâtre de couleur. On voit au milieu un losange entouré de formes géomètriques de losanges et de carrés avec des dessins floraux à l'intérieur. Un losange est un polygone à quatre côtés, ces derniers étant parallèles et de taille égale. Des dessins floraux sont représentés à l'intérieur de ces formes. 

Au milieu du dessin, on voit un octogone avec quatre côtés courts. Chacun d'eux forme un côté de quatre carrés. Sur la gauche, il y a une rangée verticale de quatre carrés dont les côtés sont marqués en noir.

A l'intérieur de chacun d'eux, on voit un carré central orné de feuilles et de formes florales au milieu. Cette oeuvre est actuellement sur le sol de l'entrée. Ses couleurs ont beaucoup terni.

جزء من سقف قبو مصنوع من الجص الملون. ويظهر في الوسط شكل معين محاط بأشكال هندسية من معينات ومربعات. والمعين هو شكل رباعي بأضلاع متساوية ومتوازية. وجميع هذه الأشكال بداخلها رسوم نباتية. 

يوجد في وسط الرسوم شكل مثمن بأربعة أضلاع قصار؛ كل منها يكون ضلعا في أربعة مربعات. يظهر على اليسار صف رأسي من أربعة مربعات، ميزت أضلاعها باللون الأسود. 

يوجد في منتصف كل واحد منها مربع بأشكال نباتية في وسطه. وتعرض هذه القطعة حاليا بالمتحف اليوناني الروماني، وقد ذبلت ألوانها.
