The wonderful marble statue depicts Harpocrates as a nude young boy with his thumb in his mouth.

Traces of red color are found on the head, the eyes, the hair, and the arms. He rests his left arm on a column with decorations imitating alabaster. 

A cloak, is gathered on his arm and covers a part of the column. In Alexandria during the Ptolemaic era, Harpocrates was a new image of the Egyptian god Horus, portrayed in different forms, sometimes as an infant or as a young boy.

Cette superbe statue en marbre représente Harpocrate sous les traits d'un jeune garçon nu, avec le pouce dans la bouche. 

Des traces de couleur rouge sont visibles sur la tête, les yeux, les cheveux et les bras. Harpocrate repose son bras gauche sur une colonne décorée qui imite l'albâtre. Une grande cape, se trouve sur son bras et recouvre une partie de la colonne. 

A Alexandrie, au cours de l'époque ptolémaïque, Harpocrate était considéré comme une nouvelle image du dieu égyptien Horus. D'ailleurs, il était représenté sous différentes formes dont parfois, celle d'un enfant en bas âge ou celle d'un jeune garçon.

تمثال رخامي بديع يصور حربوقراط في هيئة صبي عار، ويضع إصبعه في فمه. وهناك بقايا لون أحمر على الرأس والعينين والشعر والذراعين.

وقد صور وهو يستند على عمود مزين بنقوش فيها تقليد للمرمر، وقد جمعت عباءة فوق ذراعه وهي تغطى جزءاً من العمود. 

وفي الإسكندرية خلال العصر البطلمي، كان حربوقراط صورة جديدة للإله حورس المصري القديم الذي كان يظهر في هيئات مختلفة، أحيانا كطفل أو صبي.
