This page of papyrus, which comes from the town of Oxyrhynchus (P.Oxy. VIII 1115) and which dates to the 11 january in the year 281 A.D., is a request to the strategist of the oxyrhynchite nome on the part of a guild of bread merchants to state a copy of a bill true to the original.
