This fragment of papyrus, which comes from Hermopolis and which dates from the 20th November in the year 285 of our era, contains a certificate of sale under the form of an extract of a bank account, followed by a subscription where the seller described the object of transaction for which her account was credited. It refers to the sale of a slave and probably her child for the sum of eight talents.
