The Global Egyptian Museum

Het Museum van Brussel bezit vier oesjabti's van farao Seti I. Eén enkel (E. 8386) is gemaakt in blauwe faience, de drie andere  (E. 5551, E. 5563 A - B) zijn in hout. Dit houten exemplaar toont de omzwachtelde koning met een lange pruik. De armen zijn gekruist op de borst en de handen houden twee hakken vast. De hiëroglifische tekst, sterk beschadigd, is ontleend aan Spreuk 6 van het Dodenboek. Het beeldje, waarvan het onderste gedeelte licht beschadigd is, was oorspronkelijk zwart geschilderd.

The Museum of Brussels posesses four shabtis of the pharaoh Sethos I.  Only one (E.8386) is made in blue faience, the other three (E.5551, E.5563A - B) in wood. This wooden example shows the king bandaged wearing a long wig. The arms are crossed on the chest and the hands hold two hoes. The hieroglyphic text, badly deteriorated, is borrowed from Chapter 6 of the Book of the Dead. The figurine, of which the lower part is slightly damaged, was originally painted in black.

Les Musées de Bruxelles possèdent quatre ouchebtis du pharaon Séthi Ier. Un seul (E. 8386) est fabriqué en faïence bleue, les autres trois (E. 5551, E. 5563 A - B) en bois. Cet exemplaire en bois montre le roi emmailloté portant une longue perruque. Les bras sont croisés sur la poitrine et les mains tiennent deux houes. Le texte hiéroglyphique, fort détérioré, est emprunté au Chapitre 6 du Livre des Morts. La figurine, dont la partie inférieure est légèrement endommagée, était originairement peinte en noir.

Die Musées de Bruxelles besitzen vier Uschebti des Pharao Sethos I. Ein einziges (E.8386) besteht aus blauer Fayence, die drei anderen (E.5551, E.5563A - B) aus Holz. Dieses Exemplar aus Holz zeigt den in Mumienbinden eingewickelten König mit einer langen Perücke. Die Arme sind über der Brust gekreuzt und die Hände halten zwei Hacken. Der stark beschädigte Hieroglyphentext ist dem 6. Kapitel des Totenbuches entnommen. Die Figurine, deren unterer Abschnitt leicht beschädigt ist, war ursprünglich schwarz bemalt.

I Musei di Bruxelles possiedono quattro usciabti del faraone Sethi I. Uno solo (E. 8386) é fabbricato in fayence azzurra, gli altri tre (E. 5551, E. 5563 A - B) in legno. Questo esemplare di legno mostra il re fasciato che indossa una lunga parrucca. Le braccia sono incrociate sul petto e le mani reggono due zappe. Il testo geroglifico, molto deteriorato, si rifá al Capitolo 6 del Libro dei Morti. La figurina, la cui parte inferiore é leggermente danneggiata, era originariamente dipinta di nero.

Los Museos de Bruselas poseen cuatro ushebtis del faraón Sethy I. Uno de ellos (E. 8386) fue fabricado con fayenza azul, mientras que los otros tres (E. 5551, E. 5563 A - B) lo fueron con madera. Este ejemplar de madera representa al rey vendado y con una larga peluca. Los brazos están cruzados sobre el pecho y las manos sujetan dos azadas. El texto jeroglífico, muy deteriorado, está tomado del Capítulo 6 del Libro de los Muertos. La figurita, cuya parte inferior esta ligeramente dañada, estaba pintada de negro.
