Description
Deep circular dish. The interior surface is black and smooth, whereas the outside surface is red, except at the border which is also black, and shows a heavy burnish that created a rippled effect (hence "rippled ware"). The gloss of the smoothened polish surface is visible only in certain areas. The lip shows an oblique "dents de loup" design ("wolf's teeth" motif).

Profond plat circulaire.
