Beschreibung
Dieses kleine Stück aus glasiertem Steatit ist eine bemerkenswerte Darstellung des wohlbekannten Themas der <A HREF="God">Göttin</A> Isis, die ihren Sohn Horus stillt. Die dekorativen Linien an der Unterseite des Stückes weisen darauf hin, daß das Objekt als Siegel diente. Die stilistischen Merkmale, die viele Gemeinsamkeiten mit jenen von Statuetten des Alten Reiches aufweisen, lassen darüber hinaus eine Zuweisung zu den "archaisierenden" Werken der 26. Dynastie vermuten.

Dit kleine beeldje in geglazuurde steatiet is een opmerkelijke voorstelling van het zeer bekende thema van de <A HREF="God">godin</A> Isis die haar zoon Horus de borst geeft. De decoratieve lijnen die in de onderzijde gegrift zijn tonen aan dat het voorwerp diende als zegel. De stylistische kenmerken, die veel gemeen hebben met die van de beeldjes uit het Oude Rijk, suggereren bovendien dat het kan behoren tot de "archaïserende" werken van de 26e dynastie.
This small piece in enameled steatite is a remarkable representation of the very well known theme of the <A HREF="God">goddess</A> Isis breast-feeding her son Horus. The decoratives lines engraved on the lower part indicate that the object was a seal. The stylistic characteristics, which have a lot in common with those of the statues of the Old Kingdom, furthermore suggest that it belongs to the "archaistic" works of the 26th Dynasty.
Cette petite pièce en stéatite émaillée est une représentation remarquable du thème très connu de la <A HREF="God">déesse</A> Isis allaitant son fils Horus. Les lignes décoratives gravées sur la partie inférieure indiquent que l'objet servait de sceau. Les caractéristiques stylistiques, qui ont beaucoup commun avec celles des statuettes de l'Ancien Empire, suggèrent en plus une appartenance aux oeuvres "archaïsantes" de la XXVIème Dynastie.
Questo piccolo pezzo di steatite smaltata é una rappresentazione notevole del tema molto noto della <A HREF="God">dea</A> Iside che allatta suo figlio Horo. Le linee decorative incise sulla parte inferiore indicano che l'oggetto serviva da sigillo. Le caratteristiche stilistiche, che hanno parecchio in comune con quelle delle statuette dell'Antico Regno, suggeriscono inoltre un'appartenenza alle opere "arcaizzanti" della XXVI dinastia.
Este pequeno objecto em esteatite esmaltada é uma excelente representaçäo do bem conhecido tema da <A HREF="God">deusa</A> Isis a amamentar o seu filho Hórus. As linhas decorativas gravadas na parte inferior da base indicam que o objecto era usado como selo. As características estilísticas, que têm muito em comum com as estatuetas do Império Antigo, sugerem que ele pertence às obras arcaizantes da XXVI dinastia.
Esta pequeña pieza de esteatita esmaltada es una notable representación del conocido tema de la <A HREF="God">diosa</A> Isis amamantando a Horus. Las líneas decorativas grabadas en la parte inferior nos indican que el objeto servía de sello. Las características estilísticas, que tienen mucho en común con las del Imperio Antiguo, sugieren más bien que pertenece a las obras "arcaizantes" de la Dinastía XXVI.
