Dit ijzeren voorwerp behoort tot de categorie messen met recht lemmet en gebogen rug. Ze verschijnen in Egypte vanaf de Romeinse Periode. Voor deze periode hadden de Egyptische messen normaal gezien een gebogen lemmet en een rechte rug. Het ijzer, bekend in Egypte sinds het begin van het eerste millennium voor Christus, werd pas regelmatig gebruikt vanaf 600 voor Christus, meer in het bijzonder in centra die beïnvloed waren door de Griekse cultuur.

This iron object belongs to the category of knives with a straight blade and with a curved back. They appeared in Egypt from the Roman Period. Before this period, the egyptian knives normally had a curved blade and a straight back. The use of iron, known in Egypt from the beginning of the first century BC,  became frequent only from 600 BC, specifically in the centres influenced by Greek culture.

Cet objet en fer appartient à la catégorie des couteaux à lame droite et dos courbé. Ils apparaissent en Égypte à partir de la Période Romaine. Avant cette période, les couteaux égyptiens avaient normalement une lame courbe et un dos droit. Le fer, connu en Égypte au début du premier millénaire av. J.-C., n'a été employé couramment qu'à partir de 600 av. J.-C., spécifiquement dans les centres influencés par la culture grecque.

Questo oggetto di ferro appartiene alla categoria dei coltelli a lama dritta e a dorso curvo. Essi appaiono in Egitto a partire dal Periodo Romano. Prima di questo periodo, i coltelli egiziani avevano normalmente la lama curva e il dorso dritto. Il ferro, conosciuto in Egitto all'inizio del primo millennio a.C. non é stato impiegato correntemente se non a partire dal 600 a.C., soprattutto nei centri influenzati dalla cultura greca.

Este objecto de ferro pertence à categoria das facas de lâmina direita e dorso curvo. Apareceram no Egipto a partir do Período Romano. Anteriormente as facas egípcias tinham normalmente uma lâmina curva e o dorso direito. O ferro, conhecido no Egipto a partir de inícios do primeiro milénio a. C., só foi correntemente utilizado a partir de 600 a. C., mais especificamente nos centros influenciados pela cultura grega.

Este objeto de hierro es un cuchillo de hoja recta y contrafilo curvo, que aparecieron en Egipto a partir de la Época Romana. Antes de ese período, los cuchillos egipcios por lo general tenían la hoja curva y el contrafilo recto. El hierro, conocido en Egipto a comienzos del primer milenio a. C., sólo fue utilizado de un modo general a partir del 600 a. C., concretamente en los centros influidos por la cultura griega.
