This panel is of a singer standing in prayer while in the process of making a necklace. He is clothed in a long robe with a head covering that is wrapped round his neck at the front. Over his head is a circular ornament. 

On each side of the panel there are plant decorations. These have been erased on large parts of the panel. The lower part has no decoration at all. 

Most of these funerary panels have been found in Alexandria or brought from the monasteries West of Alexandria or from various places in Upper and Lower Egypt, especially from Aswan, Ashmunein, and Akhmim. Most are carved from limestone; only a few are from marble. They were used to close the entrances to tombs. 

They are covered with loculi, that is, inscriptions, with the name of the deceased and the name of the deceased's parents, country, and the date of death. Occasionally the profession is added. The inscription is in Coptic with some Christian symbols.

Cette stèle représente un chanteur debout, en prière, en train de fabriquer un collier. Il est vêtu d'une longue robe avec un couvre-chef enroulé autour de son cou à l'avant. Une décoration circulaire surmonte sa tête. 

Chacun des côtés du panneau est orné de plantes. Elles sont effacées sur de grandes parties du panneau. La partie inférieure ne comporte aucune décoration. 

La plupart de ces panneaux funéraires ont été trouvés à Alexandrie ou apportés des monastères situés à l'ouest d'Alexandrie, ou encore de divers endroits de Haute et de Basse Egypte, et plus spécialement Assouan, Ashmounein et Akhmim. La plupart sont sculptés dans la pierre à chaux, seul un petit nombre est en marbre. Ils étaient utilisés pour fermer les entrées des tombeaux. 

Ils sont recouverts de loculi, c'est-à-dire des inscriptions indiquant le nom du défunt et de ses parents, le pays et la date du décès. La profession est parfois ajoutée. L'inscription est en copte avec quelques symboles chrétiens.

توجد على كل جانب من اللوحة زخارف نباتية، وقد اختفى معظمها؛ بينما الجزء السفلي خال تماما من الزخارف. 

عثر على معظم هذه اللوحات الجنائزية بالإسكندرية، أو جلب من أديرة غرب الإسكندرية أو من أجزاء مختلفة من الوجه البحري والصعيد: خاصة في أسوان وأخميم وأشمونين. وغالبيتها منحوت من الحجر الجيري ، وقلة فقط من الرخام. 

وكانت تستخدم لغلق مداخل المقابر، وهي مغطاة بنقوش مكتوبة: تبين اسم المتوفى ووالديه وموطنه وتاريخ الوفاة؛ وأحيانا أيضا تضاف مهنته. والكتابة باللغة القبطية، مع بعض الرموز المسيحية.
