The Global Egyptian Museum

This lamp has a picture in the center of a cock, who is looking to the left. The opening for the oil is on the left. There is a tube connecting the middle of the lamp with the wick opening. 

The sides are ornamented with raised squares and circles in a decorative style. The handle is solid. The wick opening is missing.

Il s'agit d'une lampe avec, au centre, la représentation d'un coq regardant vers la gauche. L'ouverture pour l'huile est sur la gauche. Un tube relie le milieu de la lampe à l'ouverture de la mèche. 

Les côtés sont ornés de carrés et de cercles en relief d'un style décoratif. La poignée est solide. L'ouverture de la mèche manque.

مصباح (مسرجة) بصورة ديك، في الوسط، ينظر يسارا. وفتحة الزيت إلى اليسار. وتوجد ماسورة تصل وسط المصباح بفتحة الفتيل. 

الجانبان مزينان بمربعات ودوائر بارزة؛ في نمط زخرفي. والمقبض مصمت، وفتحة الفتيل مفقودة.
