The Global Egyptian Museum

The rectangular piece of bone has an almost semicircular cross section with some flattening. It is skillfully engraved with the drawing of a woman wearing loose clothing with her right leg exposed. 

The left shoulder is covered with a gown, while the right shoulder and the right half of the breast are bare. Her right arm lies alongside the body, while the left one is raised with the elbow bending toward the face. 

The part of the bone with her facial features was broken and lost, along with the raised arm below the elbow. The lower part of the piece is also lost. It depicted the left leg.

Ce morceau d'os rectangulaire est doté d'une section presque semi-circulaire comprenant des parties aplaties. Y est gravé une magnifique représentation d'une femme portant des vêtements larges laissant apparaître sa jambe droite. 

Son épaule gauche est recouverte d'une robe alors que son épaule droite et la moitié droite de sa poitrine sont nues. Sa jambe droite repose le long de son corps et celle de gauche est soulevée avec le coude plié vers son visage. 

La partie de l'os représentant les traits de son visage a été cassée et perdue, ainsi que la partie du bras levé située sous le coude. La portion inférieure de cette oeuvre est également perdue. Elle représentait sa jambe gauche.

قطعة مستطيلة من العظم، بمقطع شبه دائري وبعض الفلطحة. والقطعة منحوتة بمهارة، وتصور إمرأة ترتدي ثياباً فضفاضة وتعري ساقها اليمنى. 

الكتف الأيسر مغطى برداء، بينما تعري الكتف الأيمن مع الجزء الأيمن من الصدر. ويتدلى ذراعها الأيمن إلى جانبها، بينما يرتفع ذراعها الأيسر؛ مع انحناء الكوع نحو الوجه. 

أجزاء من القطعة مكسورة ومفقودة؛ من بينها ملامح الوجه والذراع المرفوع تحت الكوع، وكذلك جزء القطعة السفلي الذي كان يصور الساق اليسرى.
