Description
This lintel, a horizontal beam or stone above a door, of Tuthmosis the First depicts Wadjet and Nekhbet, guardian deities of Lower and Upper Egypt, respectively. The goddesses are depicted over the papyrus and the lotus flower. The hieroglyphic text contains prayers that the king will enjoy happiness, health, and prosperity. He is also described as the "Perfect Lord of Piety."

Poutre ou pierre horizontale placée au-dessus d'une porte, ce linteau de Thoutmosis Premier montre Ouadjet et Nékhbet, les divinités protectrices de la Basse et de la Haute Egypte. Ces déesses sont représentées sur un papyrus et une fleur de lotus. Le texte hiéroglyphique contient des prières qui souhaitent au roi bonheur, santé et prospérité. Thoutmosis Premier est également décrit comme "Le parfait seigneur de la piété."
يصور هذا العتب لتحتمس الأول الربتين واجيت ونخبت، الحاميتين لمصر السفلى ومصر العليا على التوالى، فوق زهرتى البردى واللوتس. ويتضمن النص الهيروغليفى دعوات للملك بأن ينعم بالسعادة والصحة والرخاء، كما يصفه بأنه السيد الكامل للتقوى.
