The Global Egyptian Museum

The owner of the statue is standing with his left leg forward. This statue has certain unusual features, such as the position of the tall feathers on each side of the shaven head and the strap on the left shoulder, attached to a bulky necklace by thin threads. 

His clothing is also unusual, as he is wearing a long, pleated kilt, tied just below the chest and a separate, draped piece of fabric, which goes from under one forearm to the other after crossing behind his back. 

His features are typical of the style of the Kushite Period, especially the round face and the prominent folds flanking the nose.

Le propriétaire de cette statue se tient debout avec la jambe gauche vers l'avant. Cette statue est dotée de certains traits inhabituels comme la position des plumes hautes de chaque côté de la tête rasée et la bretelle sur l'épaule gauche, reliée à un collier volumineux par de fins fils. 

Ses vêtements sont également inhabituels car il porte un long kilt plissé attaché juste en dessous de la poitrine et un tissu séparé et drapé qui va de dessous de l'un de ses avant-bras jusqu'à l'autre en passant derrière son dos. 

Ses traits sont typiques du style de la période Kushite, tout spécialement son visage rond et les plis proéminents entourant son nez.

يقف صاحب هذا التمثال مقدماً رجله اليسرى. وهو يتميز بملامح غير معتادة مثل وضع الريشتين العاليتين على جانبى الرأس الحليقة، والشريط الذى يوجد على الكتف الأيسر والمتصل بالقلادة الضخمة عن طريق خيوط رفيعة. 

كما نلاحظ أن رداء الرجل غير تقليدى حيث أنه يرتدى نقبة طويلة ذات ثنيات مربوطة أسفل الصدر وقطعة منفصلة من القماش تنسدل لتمر من أسفل الذراع إلى الذراع الآخر خلف الظهر. 

وتتفق هذه الملامح مع طراز العصر الكوشى خاصة بملاحظة الوجه المستدير والثنيات البارزة حول الأنف.
