The god Horus, "Lord of the Sky and Symbol of Divine Kingship," is depicted as the falcon, a fearsome bird of prey with dangerous talons. 

The falcon stands on a high base, solidly on its talons, with folded wings and a trailing tail. 

The wings of the falcon represent the sky and its eyes represent the sun and moon. His double crown, symbolizing dominion over Upper and Lower Egypt, is protected with the rearing cobra, or uraeus, a divine protector of the ruler. 

The falcon wears a heart necklace around its neck. The heart was considered the seat of thought and emotion and even life itself.

Le dieu Horus, "Seigneur du ciel et symbole de la royauté divine," est représenté comme un faucon, un oiseau de proie effroyable aux serres dangereuses. 

Ce faucon se tient fermement sur ses serres sur une base élevée avec ses ailes repliées et une queue qui traîne. 

Les ailes du faucon représentent le ciel et ses yeux le soleil et la lune. Sa double couronne, symbolisant la domination sur la Haute et la Basse Egypte, est protégée par le cobra, ou uraeus, dressé, un protecteur divin du dirigeant. 

Le faucon porte un collier en coeur autour de son cou. Le coeur était considéré comme le siège de la pensée et de l'émotion et même de la vie elle-même.

يجسد هذا التمثال المعبود حورس، سيد السماء ورمز الملكية المقدسة، في هيئة الصقر، وهو طائر جارح مفزع ذو مخالب خطرة، 

يصوره واقفاً متشبثا بمخالبه على قاعدة عالية، وقد طويت أجنحته وفرد ريش ذيله. 

ومن المعروف أن أجنحة الصقر تمثل السماء وعيونه ترمز للشمس والقمر. ويحمي تاجه المزدوج، الذي يرمز للسيطرة على مصر العليا ومصر السفلى، ثعبان الكوبرا، الحامية الربانية للملك. 

ويضع الصقر قلادة قلب حول العنق حيث اعتبر القلب مركز الفكر والعاطفة بل والحياة ذاتها.
