This translucent alabaster lamp is in the form of a double chalice on a four-legged stand. 

It was found in the passage between the outer large shrine and the partition wall of the burial chamber of King Tutankhamun. 

It is flanked by figures of the god of eternity, Heh, squatting over a clump of papyrus. 

When the lamp is lit, the paintings on the outer surface of the inner chalice are visible through the translucent stone. 

These show the queen standing and presenting two long palm branches, symbols of an infinite number of years.

En forme de double calice, cette lampe d'albâtre translucide repose sur un socle pourvu de quatre pieds. Elle fut retrouvée dans le passage situé entre le grand tombeau extérieur et la cloison de la chambre funéraire de Toutânkhamon.

Elle est entourée de figures représentant Heh, le dieu de l'éternité. Ce dernier est agenouillé sur des plantes de papyrus. Lorsque la lampe est allumée, les peintures présentes sur la surface externe du calice interne deviennent visibles. En effet, la lumière passe à travers la pierre translucide. 

Ces peintures montrent la reine debout, en train de présenter deux longues tiges de palmier au roi. Les tiges de palmier sont le symbole d'un nombre infini d'années.

مصباح شفاف، من الألباستر، في شكل كأس قربان مزدوج على قائم بأربعة أرجل. وقد عثر عليه في الممر بين الناووس الخارجي الأكبر والجدار الفاصل لحجرة الدفن. 

ومثل رب العالم الآخر"حح" على جانبي الكأس جالسا القرفصاء على حزمة من البردي. وعند إشعال المصباح، نشاهد الصور المرسومة على سطحه الخارجي من خلال الحجر الشفاف. 

وتـظهر هذه المناظر الملكة واقفة، وتقدم للملك سعفتي نخيل طويلتين؛ كأمنية للعدد اللا نهائي من السنين التى يعيشها الملك.
