The Global Egyptian Museum

The head of Alexander the Great was sculpted during the Roman era. However, it is of Greek origin and is attributed to the Lesbos school. 

The head is slightly turned to the left in the opposite direction of the neck. The features of the face were gently crafted, including a long nose, a small closed mouth, fleshy lips, smooth cheeks, almond-shaped eyes that show the pupil and iris, and a slightly prominent forehead that is not separated from the lines determining the nose and eyebrows.

The hair is full of curls, a distinctive feature of the statues of Alexander the Great.

Cette tête d'Alexandre le Grand a été sculptée durant l'ère romaine. Elle est cependant d'origine grecque et est attribuée à l'école de Lesbos. 

Sa tête est doucement tournée vers la gauche dans la direction opposée à celle du cou. Les traits de son visage ont été exécutés avec soin, y compris son long nez, sa petite bouche fermée, ses lèvres charnues, ses joues lisses, ses yeux en amande qui représentent la pupille et l'iris et un front légèrement proéminent qui n'est pas séparé des lignes déterminant le nez et les sourcils. 

Ses cheveux sont bouclés, signe distinctif des statues d'Alexander le Grand

رأس للإسكندر الأكبر نحتت فى العصر الروماني، عن أصل يوناني ينتمي لمدرسة ليسبوس، 

الرأس هنا تلتفت قليلاً الى اليسار فى عكس إتجاه الرقبة، وملامح الوجه نفذت بدقة كبيرة، تتمثل فى أنف طويل وفم رقيق مغلق وشفتين غليظتين، وخدود ناعمة جيدة الصقل، العيون لوزية الشكل بها تحديد للإنسان والحدقة، والجبهة بارزة قليلاً لا تنفصل عن خطوط تحديد الأنف والحاجبين، والشعر كثير الالتواء من طراز الشعر الثعباني الذى يميز تصوير الاسكندر الأكبر
