Description
From the 2nd century of our era, the Egyptians produced documents of wood called "mummy labels". They contain short religious formulae mentioning the name, affiliation, occupation, age and the date of death of the deceased. This piece in the form of a sign was intended to be fixed to the mummy of Sarapammon, son of Harpalos. The Museum owns a second "label" belonging to the brother of Sarapammon (A.1974).

Vanaf de 2e eeuw van onze jaartelling maakten de Egyptenaren houten documenten die "mummie-etiketten" worden genoemd. De documenten bevatten korte religieuze formules waarin de naam, de afstamming, het beroep, de leeftijd en de overlijdensdatum worden vermeld. Dit exemplaar was bestemd om aan de mummie van Sarapamon, zoon van Harpalos, bevestigd te worden. Het Museum bezit een tweede "etiket" dat aan de broer van Sarapamon toebehoort (A. 1974).
A partir du IIe siècle de notre ère, les Égyptiens ont produit des documents en bois appelés "étiquettes de momie". Ils contenaient des courtes formules religieuses mentionnant le nom, la filiation, le métier, l'âge et la date de mort du défunt. Cette pièce en forme de pancarte était destinée à être fixée à la momie de Sarapammon, fils de Harpalos. Le Musée possède une seconde "étiquette" appartenant au frère de Sarapammon (A. 1974).
Vom 2. Jhdt. n. Chr. an fertigten die Ägypter hölzerne Dokumente an, die "Mumienetiketten" genannt werden. Sie enthalten kurze religiöse Formeln, die Namen, Abkunft, Beruf, Alter und Todesdatum des Verstorbenen nennen. Dieses Stück in Form eines Schildes sollte an der Mumie des Sarapammon, Sohn des Harpalos, befestigt werden. Das Museum besitzt noch ein weiteres "Etikett", das dem Bruder des Sarapammon gehörte (A.1974).
A partire dal II secolo della nostra era, gli egiziani hanno prodotto dei documenti di legno detti "etichette di mummia". Queste contenevano delle brevi formule religiose menzionanti il nome, la filiazione, il mestiere, l'etá e la data di morte del defunto. Questo pezzo a forma di cartello era destinato a essere fissato sulla mummia di Sarapammon, figlio di Harpalos. Il Museo possiede una seconda "etichetta" appartenente al fratello di Sarapammon (A. 1974).

Continham curtas fórmulas religiosas com o <!-->nome do defunto, a sua filiaçäo, profissäo, idade e a data do falecimento. Esta peça, em forma de pequeno cartaz, destinava-se a ser fixada na múmia de Sarapammon, filho de Harpalos. O Museu possui uma segunda «etiqueta» pertencente a um irmäo de Sarapammon (A. 1974).
