This small dish of alabaster comes from the excavations at Gurob at the beginning of the 20th century. Characterised by two fine rounded rims, the piece dates from the New Kingdom. It was purchased during the Amherst sale in London in 1921.

Deze kleine albasten kom is afkomstig uit de opgravingen in Ghorab van het begin van de 20e eeuw. Het stuk, dat gekenmerkt wordt door twee fijne afgeronde randen, dateert uit het Nieuwe Rijk. Het is aangekocht tijdens de verkoop van de collectie Amherst te Londen in 1921.
Cette petite coupe en albâtre provient des fouilles de Gourob du début du XXe siècle. Caractérisée par deux fins bords arrondis, la pièce date du Nouvel Empire. Elle a été achetée lors de la vente Amherst à Londres en 1921.
