Description
This toy was discovered at Tell el-Amarna near the royal palace. It was probably used as a toy by the king's daughters. It depicts six monkeys playing together, three on each side of the plaque. They are arranged from the tallest to the shortest. The taller monkeys on each side are stretching out their hands to each other. The last two monkeys on each side are holding each other's waists.
