Description
A locally made amphora that has a narrow cylindrical neck, and a round mouth, which served to control the amount of liquid being poured. The body is round, and narrows to the pointed base. It has two handles attached to the neck and the body. This amphora is made of red clay, which was a cheap material. These containers were related to table service during the Hellenistic period and they were used to transport and store liquids such as wine or oil.

Une amphore locale à cou cylindrique étroit et bouche arrondie utilisée pour contrôler la quantité de liquide versée. Le corps est arrondi et se rétrécit à la base pointue. Elle comporte deux poignées attachées au cou et au corps. Cette amphore est confectionnée en argile rouge, un matériau bon marché. Ces récipients faisaient partie de services de table pendant la période Hellénistique, utilisés pour transporter et conserver les liquides tels que vins et huiles.
أمفورا محلية الصنع تتكون من رقبة ضيقة إسطوانية الشكل للتحكم فى السوائل وفوهة دائرية. البدن كروى الشكل وممتد حتى القاعدة المدببة. ويوجد مقبضان يرتبطان بالرقبة والبدن. الأمفورا مصنوعة من طينة حمراء قليلة التكاليف. وتعتبر الأمفورا من أشكال الأوانى المغلقة الخاصة بالمائدة خلال العصر الهلينستي. وكانت تستخدم لحفظ وصب السوائل مثل النبيذ والزيوت.
